Sporotrichosis in the nail—An unusual location and presentation
INTRODUCTION Sporotrichosis, or rose gardener’s disease, is caused by the dimorphic fungus Sporothrix schenckii and is the most common subcutaneous mycosis. The disease typically occurs in one of 3 main forms: lymphocutaneous (most commonly), fixed cutaneous, or disseminated cutaneous.
